Ceiling Fan Remote Control Not Working

Turn of the unit using the remote if the power button is working press the off button on the fan for about 10 seconds wait for about another 20 seconds and then turn the fan on again using the remote this will reset the remote and deliver smooth operation. If you re using a wall control check the power to the breaker from your control and try working your ceiling fan manually.

Rarely another electronic device may interfere with the ceiling fan frequencies which may prevent normal operations from occurring. If this is the case then the receiver can be removed and replaced with another remote receiver kit or the fan can be operated as standard with the 3 speed pullchain. Check that the dip switches on the remote and receiver are set to the same frequency. Remotes can stop working for a variety of reasons.
